Herringbone
Herringbone floors has been a long time traditional floor pattern in Europe. It can be installed in several configurations with or without the border. Most of the herringbone floors are sold unfinished.
Typically installed piece-by-piece in various configurations, either parallel to the room walls or diagonally(as pictured above). Diagonal installation visually expands the room, but requires more material. Add at least 15% extra if doing this type of installation.
Czar Floors Herringbone supplied as pre-cut T&G unfinished hardwood pieces, that can be assembled on site in different configurations. Typical sizes for the boards are 2-1/4" x 11-1/4", 2-1/4" x 13-1/2", 2-1/4" x 15-3/4". Also available in 3-1/4" widths in different thickness and wood species.

Plank and strip flooring
Hardwood floor plank can be used to fill the areas between borders and walls with parquet installed inside the borders. This will create a beautiful appearance of the "wooden rug".
Czar Floor can supply quality plank flooring at the competitive prices. The benefit of ordering plank floor from the same source is that you can be sure that it will match in thickness and appearance to other decorative floor elements. Czar Floors uses the best quality and grade wood for the production. Minimum plank wood floor order without inlay purchase is 250 sq .ft., full boxes only. There is no minimum order when plank ordered with medallions, borders or parquet.

Czar Floors can offer architectural special order flooring with wide variety of sizes and wood species, unfinished or prefinished. Example of the special order items would be 8" wide walnut boards by 6 feet minimum length, prefinished. Any inquiries are welcome.

Czar Floors can produce custom stairs parts and risers with decorative inlays. Often, the risers design is based on the existing border model. Our designers will adopt the pattern to fit your specific requirements.
